As a certified member of FAST we are bound by its code of conduct at all times, helping us demonstrate to our customers our commitment to preventing intellectual and software theft, and thereby ensuring our customers the peace of mind that comes from an ethical investment. Exponentially increasing internet speeds and portable storage devices have enabled less scrupulous organisations to take advantage of counterfeit softwares and documentation. At visualmetrics we believe that correctly licensed genuine products, and the approved use of intellectual property, is not a choice, it's an obligation.
For our customers, our membership of FAST has two direct consequences. Firstly it means that any product, service or documentation purchased from, or given by, us to you (with or without charge), is either owned by and therefore proprietary to visualmetrics, or correctly licensed for distribution by us, to you, and for your use. Secondly it means that we are contractually required to make sure you are fully aware of the licensing restrictions and requirements of any product you purchase from us.
Our membership of FAST places no obligations or requirements upon our customers, it simply means they know what they are buying, how it's licensed, and that it's genuine.
